Sheriff’s sales of residential properties must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 2A:50-64 (“Community Wealth Preservation Program” - A5664/S4240 – effective 1/12/2024). As a result, Sheriff’s sales of residential properties will be adjourned until the plaintiff(s) can demonstrate full compliance with the Community Wealth Preservation Program. New sale dates for residential properties will be forthcoming shortly. Sales of commercial properties will proceed as originally scheduled. 

• Deposits for Sheriff Sales are $1,500. 
• As of 7/29/2019 the plaintiff is entitled to only two, four week postponements. 
• Besides the initial plaintiff adjournment fee, any matter adjourned on behalf of a plaintiff on (or after) its day of scheduled sale will be charged a $28 adjournment fee, each occurrence. 
• Upset amounts announced at the time of sale shall take into consideration all fees, including the $350.00 Foreclosure Intervention Fund.
