Children's Inter-Agency Coordinating Council (CIACC)
The Cumberland County Children’s Inter-Agency Coordinating Council (CIACC) is dedicated to helping children, from birth to age 21, with behavioral or mental health, intellectual or developmental disability, and/or substance use concerns. The Cumberland CIACC is appointed by the County Board of Commissioners and works to develop and maintain a responsive, accessible, and integrated system of care for children’s needs and also supports families and caregivers in the process.
The CIACC advises the County Board of Commissioners through the county Department of Human Services, as well as advising the New Jersey Department of Children and Families, Division of Children’s System of Care (CSOC). The CIACC is comprised of government entities, providers, as well as interested youth and family members.
All CIACC meetings are open to the public with participation encouraged. The CIACC meets 9 times a year with 3 of those meetings including the Gloucester and Salem County CIACCs. Meetings are used for planning, networking, educating and advising individuals and agencies throughout the county.
