Area Kids Can Get Hooked On Fishing

The 12th annual Get Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs Fishing Tournament will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Cedarville Lake, Route 553. The rain date is Sunday. Participants need to bring a fishing pole. Bait will be provided.

The free tournament is sponsored by the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department. Age groups for the event are: 6 and younger, 7 to 9 and 10 to 12.

The first 100 children to register will receive a free T-shirt. Each child also will receive a free hot dog and beverage. A variety of prizes will be awarded.
