Bridgeton Party For 325th Anniversary

Bridgeton Main Street and the city of Bridgeton will present the official dedication of the 325th anniversary of historic Bridgeton from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 on Commerce Street from Cohansey Street to the Cohansey river. Attendees can join Mayor Albert B. Kelly and the City Council for the cutting of the Bridgeton 325 cake.

The event also will include a salute to U.S. troops and veterans from throughout Cumberland County at 2 p.m.

There also will be food, arts and crafts, music, entertainment, a downtown merchant sidewalk sale, and a free screening of the movie "Up" from 10 a.m. to noon at the Ashley McCormick Center.
