Veterans Information Fair

The Office of United States Senator Frank R. Lautenburg will host a Veterans Information Fair on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Camden County College, 200 College Drive in Blackwood, NJ. The purpose of the fair is to provide Veterans, active military and their families an opportunity to interact directly with both federal and local veterans organizations.

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs will be on hand to share information and answer questions. Additional participants include such entities as South Jersey Veterans County Offices, The American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Veterans for Education, Military Officers Association of America and other veteran and community organizations. Resources will be provided regarding disability claims, housing, educational and financial assistance, as well as other benefits available to veterans and their families.
