Cumberland County Library invites amateur and professional photographers, ages 18 and up, to submit 1 to 3 framed photographs for a juried photographic competition, to be held from November 22nd to the end of the year.

The exhibition is titled “Seen on a summer day”. This exhibition will allow residents of Cumberland County to share their memorable experiences from the summer of 2011.

Get out your cameras and share your exciting adventures or your peaceful moments, whether you travelled far or stayed close to home.

You may pick up an entry form at the library. Details concerning the framing requirements are on the form. Forms are also available at your local camera shop.
Photographs must be brought to the library by November 18.

Photographs will be displayed in the gallery on the lower level of the library.

There will be a reception on Wednesday evening, November 30 to celebrate the photographic talent of Cumberland County residents.
