Senior Pet Care Books at the Cumberland County Library

Rosie, the one and a half year old Siberian husky, invites everyone to come to the Cumberland County Library and read books on senior pet care. Even though she is young, she lives with a geriatric dog. Books about how great senior dogs and cats are as pets as well as their health needs may be borrowed.

Dogs and cats become geriatric at approximately 7 years old depending on their size.  In human years that is about 45 to 55 years.

Information on the same problems seen in people such as cancer, heart, kidney, liver and joint disease, as well as diabetes may be found at the county library.
