Sheriff Austino Invites Community to an Open House

Bridgeton, NJ– Cumberland County Sheriff Robert Austino announced today that the County Sheriff’s Department will be hosting an open house on Sunday August 7, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and everyone is invited to attend. 

Sheriff Austino said “our Officers have been doing a lot more community policing and working hard to get to know the people in our neighborhoods. We felt as though this event would provide an opportunity for the citizens to visit us and learn more about the mission of our Department. This Open House is for the whole family. Food, face painting, inflatables, K-9 Demonstrations and tours of the Sheriff’s Office will be available.”

“As a result of the very difficult challenges that law enforcement is dealing with throughout the nation”, Sheriff Austino said “we hope this event will assist in strengthening the relationship between law enforcement and our citizens. We are here to serve and protect. We want the residents of our County to feel safe and able to call on our Officers if they need help”.
