STATE AND LOCAL OFFICIALS TO GATHER TO CELEBRATE OPENING OF LANDIS SQUARE APARTMENTS ON TUESDAY MARCH 27 AT 10 AM
Successful collaboration between State and Vineland Developer results in five star quality affordable housing for local seniors
VINELAND, N.J. – Former officials from the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (HMFA) will join state, county and local officials, as well as leaders of Eastern Pacific Development, LLC, Brookfield Construction, and Vanguard Realty to celebrate the grand opening of Landis Square Apartments, a 74 unit affordable senior rental community in Vineland, Cumberland County. The HMFA, an affiliate of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA), approved the project for the competitive 9% federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) of up to $9.4 million over ten years.
All will gather on Tuesday, March 27 at 10 AM with local residents moving into their housing units to celebrate the success of the project. Landis Square Apartments will provide quality affordable housing opportunities for senior citizens from in Cumberland County.
Invited guests include, former DCA Acting Commissioner Charles Richman, who also served as Acting Chairman of the HMFA board; former HMFA Director, Anthony Marchetta, Senator Jeff Van Drew, Assemblyman Robert Andrzejczak, Assemblyman Bruce Land, Freeholder Director Joe Derella and Mayor Anthony Fanucci.
The developers of the project will be available for interviews after the ribbon cutting ceremony. The ribbon cutting will be followed by the dedication of the Francis J. Reilly Reading Alcove, a tour of the common areas and a sample room and a reception.
