CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS
FURever As Friends Reading Program
Monday, October 4 & 18
6:30 p.m.
Children or teens of all ages are invited to come read to a fabulous furry friend! FURever as Friends therapy pet teams will be available to help kids practice their reading in fifteen-minute time slots. The October 18th event will feature a Howl-O-Ween Party where pet teams will be wearing costumes and participants will receive treats! Kids are welcome to wear costumes as well.

Story Time
Thursdays, October 7, 14, 21 & 28
10:30 a.m.
Children ages 5 and younger and a caregiver can join us as we share stories, songs, finger plays and movement activities! Library story times are a fun way to help your child develop skills they will need to be ready to read.
Weather permitting, this program will take place outside in the library's fenced in grassy area near the side ramp. Attendees are welcome to bring blankets or folding chairs to sit on. In the event of bad weather, Story Time will take place inside the library. Attendance will be limited, and current Covid-19 protocols will be followed. Registration is required. Take and Make Crafts for Kids
Families are invited to visit the library this month to pick up “Take and Make” crafts to make at home. Kits will include instructions and supplies, as well as a list of any additional supplies you will need to have on hand. This month we’ll feature two kits:
• October 4th –16th Fall Tree Craft
• October 18th – October 30th Halloween Bat Craft

Masquerade Story Time
Saturday, October 23
11 a.m.
Children ages 6 and younger are invited to a special Masquerade Story Time where we’ll share stories, songs and movement activities. Costumes are encouraged and all children attending will receive a special treat!

“Let’s Draw Monsters” Virtual Cartooning Class

5-6 p.m.
Kids and teens ages 8 and older are invited to a fun, interactive virtual program to learn to draw monsters with award winning children’s illustrator Rick Stromoski. Teen Volunteer Meeting

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to make a difference at the library while earning volunteer time. Members help to plan events for teens and kids, suggest books for the library, and much more. Learn how you can be a part of your library!

Teens are invited to join our Dungeon Master as he leads us through a monthly D & D adventure. Tabletop/role playing experience is not required and new players are welcome. Pre-made characters will be available for those that need them.

How to Pay for College

Teen Pumpkins and Werewolves Program!

Teens ages 13-18
Teens are invited to join us for an evening of pumpkins and werewolves! First, carve your own pumpkin masterpiece then play a “howling-ly” fun game of Werewolf!
