CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS
FURever As Friends Reading Program
Mondays, April 4 & 18
6:30 p.m.
Children or teens of all ages are invited to come read to a fabulous furry friend! FURever
as Friends therapy pet teams will be available to help kids practice their reading in
fifteen-minute time slots.
This event will take place inside the library and registration is required.

Story Time
Thursdays, April 7, 14, 21 & 28
10:30 a.m.
Children ages 5 and younger and a caregiver can join us as we share stories, songs,
finger plays and movement activities! Library story times are a fun way to help your
child develop skills they will need to be ready to read.
Story Time will take place inside the library and registration is required.

Take and Make Crafts for Kids
April 4 – April 30 (While supplies last)
Families are invited to visit the library this month to pick up “Take and Make” crafts to
make at home. Kits will include instructions and supplies, as well as a list of any
additional supplies you will need to have on hand. This month, participants will have
the opportunity to make an acrostic poem about the Earth. Registration is not required.

National Library Week Celebration
Saturday, April 9, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Children ages 12 and younger
Kids 12 and younger are invited to celebrate National Library Week by visiting the
library on Saturday, April 9, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Each child visiting can make a
bookmark and receive a free book. Registration is not required
