Meet William Still, Abolitionist and Underground Railroad Conductor, at Cumberland County Library on August 3

On Saturday, August 3, at 2pm, Cumberland County Library will host a free historical program, “A Visit With William Still: Abolitionist,” a dramatic live one-hour performance featuring American Historical Theatre actor and historian Keith Henley as William Still, the 19th century Delaware Valley businessman, abolitionist, and conductor of the Underground Railroad who helped nearly 800 enslaved people escape to freedom. This one-hour program will include time for questions and answers from the audience.
