The Reel Thing
Saturday, May 24, 1-4pm
If you love movies and love talking about them, then you’re invited to join Cumberland County Library’s new film discussion club, The Reel Thing, for an afternoon film followed by a thought-provoking discussion. The club will meet one Saturday every month, and club members take turns picking the films we’ll watch and discuss at upcoming meetings.
The film being shown in May is Robert Altman’s acclaimed psychological drama “3 Women,” in which two roommates/physical therapists, one a vain woman (Shelley Duvall) and the other an awkward teenager (Sissy Spacek), share an increasingly bizarre relationship. This 1977 film is rated PG.
Registration is required, participants must be age 18 or older.
