Salary: $30,986
Duties: Under close supervision, performs routine, repetitive clerical work involving the processing of documents in a variety of units that administer public assistance benefits to the community; compiles information and data; reviews and checks documents for correctness and completeness; enters and retrieves information electronically; performs keyboarding/typing duties; schedules administrative proceedings; opens, stamps, and distributes mail; files documents; uses office equipment; other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand or otherwise communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. Ability to utilize a computer and other office equipment with particular emphasis on Microsoft Office software. Ability to follow procedures and daily instructions. Possession of a valid New Jersey driver’s license is required.
Hours: Thirty-five (35) hour per week; Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Note: Offers of employment for this title are contingent upon successful completion of physical fitness testing that includes drug screening.
