**Provisional, Pending Civil Service Procedures**
Salary Range: $42,613 - $44,276
Duties: Assists in preparation of CCDOC Annual Budget and in the drafting of proposed ordinances and/or resolutions. All aspects of purchasing, including, but not limited to, working with administration in preparation of bids, obtaining quotes, processing requisitions and purchase orders. Checking and disseminating goods received. Processes bail and child support payments. Collects and analyzes data needed as a basis for administrative decisions in addition to performing general administrative clerical and related work. Storage of records as per the NJ and County Record Retention Schedule. Work with the County Finance Department in tracking Grant expenditures. Serves as a back up to the CCDOC payroll support personnel. Performs other duties as required.
Requirements: Five (5) years of experience in clerical work. Possession of an associate degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Knowledge of purchasing procedures and prior purchasing experience is preferred. Ability to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and computerized information systems used by the department. Ability to organize assigned work and develop effective work methods.
Hours: Full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.
Note: Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of physical fitness testing and drug screening.
