Public Works (Mosquito Extermination)
Temporary/Full Time
Salary Range: $15.23 Hour
Duties: Under direction, performs field work assisting the Entomologist with the surveillance program by collecting mosquitoes from light traps, recording precipitation levels at specific light trap sites, sorting through the light trap collections to isolate the mosquitoes from the bycatch, setting up and collecting from vector surveillance traps, assisting with data entry, and any other duties as required.

Requirements: Valid driver’s license.
Hours: Typical work shifts are 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Note: Offers of employment for this title are contingent upon successful completion of physical fitness testing that includes drug screenings, and verifications of clean driving records.
