9/24/2010 - Volunteers Needed At Parvin State Park
Halloween will soon be here and Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee needs help from volunteers in order to present a successful and enjoyable Halloween event. The Halloween event, which is being held in October, is the Appreciation Committee’s largest fundraising event.
Volunteers are needed for many aspects of the Halloween event: Set-up and take-down, hayride monitor-riders, food servers, haunters, guides and parking attendants.
Volunteering in events for your local community can be a very rewarding experience. It is an excellent way to meet people and make new friends. Volunteers should be 16 years of age or older (under 18 will need parental/guardian permission).
Plan to assist the committee and participate as a volunteer. Call the Parvin Appreciation Committee at (856) 692-0036 to take part. Visit www.FriendsofParvin.org for more information on the organization.
