Teen Postcard Project At Bridgeton Public Library
This summer, the Teen Library Council of the Bridgeton Public Library participated in a postcard exchange with other library teen groups across the country.
The Bridgeton TLC received over forty-five postcards which are currently displayed in the Young Adult Section of the library.

The project went along with the teen summer reading theme, “You Are Here,” and was organized by Youth Services librarians throughout the United States. TLC members designed a postcard, and then wrote personalized messages to each teen group on a list of those participating. The Bridgeton TLC received over forty-five postcards which are currently displayed in the Young Adult Section of the library. Postcards came from as far away as Anchorage, Alaska, and from as close to home as Moorestown, New Jersey!
The Teen Library Council would like to invite the community to view their postcard display, which will be up until the second week in September. The TLC would also like to thank the Friends of the Bridgeton Library for graciously paying for postage!
The Bridgeton Library is located at 150 E. Commerce Street in Bridgeton. Please call 451-2620, or visit us on the web at www.bridgetonlibrary.org or www.facebook.com/bridgetonlibrary.
