6/1/2012 - County Clerk Extends Service Hours

CUMBERLAND  COUNTY  CLERK  EXTENDS  SERVICE  HOURS

Cumberland County Clerk Gloria Noto announced yesterday that her office will once again begin offering extended hours for the convenience of the public.

Beginning Tuesday, June 12th, the Cumberland County Clerk’s Office will be open until 6:30 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.  The Cumberland County Court House is already open for other purposes; so there will be no added expenses for security.  The Clerk’s professional staff will “stagger” their hours so no burden of overtime expense will be passed onto taxpayers.

“I am so pleased that once again we will be able to offer “late hours” so that clients who have difficulty visiting during regular business hours can be accommodated, at no additional expense to the taxpayers” said Clerk Noto.  “It’s wonderful to be able to resume our highly successful program from the past and continue to provide clients with these expanded hours again.”

The Clerk’s Office will offer varied services such as U.S. Passport Processing, Trade Name Registrations, Notary Public Oaths, Land Recording Services, and Veterans Services.  The office is located on the First Floor of the Cumberland County Court House in Bridgeton.

If you have any questions regarding the range of services provided, please call the Clerk’s Office at 856-453-4860.
