Cumberland County Launches New “Millville Area Connector” Bus Service

Cumberland County is excited to announce a new transportation service in the Millville/Laurel Lake area!

The new “Millville Area Connector (MAC)” is operated by the County’s Department of Employment and Training and is funded through a Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) grant provided to the County by NJ Transit. Bus service focuses on providing a transportation connection for those in the downtown Millville and Laurel Lake area for work, education or social service needs. Buses operate on a fixed-route and serve downtown Millville, the Millville Airport and surrounding Business Park, the New Jersey Motorsports Park and the Laurel Lake area.  Busses conveniently connect to NJ Transit 553 and 408 routes.

Bus Schedules are available online at: www.ccoel.org or local libraries, city halls, county complex, and at Millville and Laurel Lake faith-based and community organizations. The Millville Area Connector (MAC) service is provided at no cost or fee to riders, however, donations are greatly appreciated.  Riders that connect to NJ Transit will be responsible for that fare.

Registration for the Millville Area Connector (MAC) is required.  For your convenience, registration forms are available on the buses with the drivers, at the One Stop Career Center, online at: www.ccoel.org or you can call: (856) 451-8920.  The fleet of 18 passenger buses are ADA compliant, handicapped accessible and have heat and air-conditioning for riders comfort.
