The Cumberland County Library offers a variety of computer classes on-site. You can see them on the home page at Classes are free. Handouts are $5.00 to cover costs. Attendees are asked to register by calling 856-453-2210, ext. 100.

To borrow any of these items, stop by the library at 800 East Commerce Street, Bridgeton on Rt. 49, or call the library to inquire about an item’s availability at 856-453-2210 ext. 119. If the item is not available, staff can place a hold on it for you.

If you have Internet access, log into and select Cumberland County Library. You can see if an item is available. If you wish it held for you or if it is checked out and you wish to be notified when it is available for you, you can place a hold on the item. At the catalog website, look up the title of the work. In the box to the left of the information about the item, click on “Place Hold.”

Then fill in the information requested on the next screen: Library ID (card number with all digits, no spaces), PIN number, pickup library, and an expiration date if you wish to have one. Then click on “Place Hold” again. The library will call you when the item is available.

Library cards are available to all Cumberland County residents. Identification with name and address is needed for registration. Those under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them and show ID. If you are 17 and have a driver’s license, however, you can sign for yourself.
