5/19/2015 - County Administration to Move This Week

CUMBERLAND COUNTY ADMINISTRATION TO MOVE THIS WEEK

Bridgeton, NJ – The Offices housed in the Cumberland County Administration Complex located at 790 E. Commerce Street will be moving to 164 West Broad Street in Bridgeton over the next two days, Wednesday May 20 and Thursday May 21, 2015. As a result of the move there may be limited access to the offices that will be moving over this two day period. County Administrator Ken Mecouch is asking for the publics’ patience with the Administrative Arm of County government while we complete this two day move. The Offices impacted include: The Cumberland County Freeholder Office/Administrator/Clerk to the Board’s Office, the Departments of Personnel, Finance, Purchasing, Payroll, Legal, and Planning.

In addition, the County’s Technology and Veteran Affairs Departments are now located at 788 E. Commerce Street in Bridgeton. This will be a permanent location for the Technology Department but temporary for Veteran Affairs. The County Department of Veteran Affairs will be permanently housed at the new Cumberland Workforce and Economic Development office currently being constructed on the campus at Cumberland County College.

Please note that while the addresses will change for the offices listed above, all phone numbers will remain the same. All County Administration functions are anticipated to be fully operational on Friday May 22, 2015.

Cumberland County Freeholder Director Joe Derella said that “the Board of Chosen Freeholders looks forward to hosting an Official Dedication Ceremony of the “Charles Chuck Fisher” County Administration Building on June 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Details will be announced shortly.
