County Unveils New Web Design

The County of Cumberland is launching a new and improved website design that incorporates all of the key information from the previous site but in a new and more user friendly platform. The site features menu items such as “How Do I”, Public Meetings; Agenda’s and Notices as well as competitive bidding, and the Citizen Resource Center.

Deputy Freeholder Director Darlene Barber said, “We are really very pleased about the overall look of the new site. The new County Website will offer the Citizen Resource Center. This new feature will provide our citizens with a centralized location to submit information requests, provide positive input, as well as express concerns regarding County issues. It will not only act as a help desk but it will also log all issues that are submitted to the CRC and will forward them to the appropriate department for action.

She said we are always looking to identify opportunities to improve our communication and measure results. This feature will be of great value in that regard”.

The County of Cumberland is also pleased to introduce a new mobile app called MyCumberland. Freeholder Director Joe Derella said,” this is a free app that can be down loaded from your mobile phone using the app store. MyCumberland will allow citizens to report a roadway condition, a public record request, mosquito spraying, as well as access the County’s website.”

While the site is new, our web address is still the same. The site is set to launch Monday, May 16, 2016.
