5/16/2017 - CCTEC students participate in the NJAC Cook Off Challenge... and WIN!

At the 6th Annual County Vocational-Technical School Cook-Off Challenge, culinary arts students from bergen, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Essex, Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, and Passaic counties competed for titles in taste, creativity and food presentation.

Check out the award titles that our CCTEC students' Baja Pork Taco and a Key West Shrimp Taco dish won below:

  1. PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD, SILVER MEDAL
  2. NJAC JUDGES TASTE AWARD, SILVER MEDAL
  3. NJAC JUDGES STATE DISPLAY, GOLD MEDAL
  4. PROFESSIONAL CHEFS TASTE AWARD, GOLD MEDAL
  5. PRFOESSIONAL CHEFS FOOD PRESENTATION, BRONZE MEDAL
