County Tourism Unveils Billboards Targeting Visitors to Explore
New Tourism Website

Bridgeton, NJ – Cumberland County Freeholder and Tourism Liaison Jim Quinn encourages everyone to visit Cumberland County Tourism’s new website, www.explorecumberlandnj.com. Freeholder Quinn said, “we are very pleased to be able to showcase Cumberland County. Hopefully these new billboards will help in attracting even more visitors to our area! Tourism had a 16.7 Million Dollar impact in Cumberland County in 2016. We want to keep that momentum going.”


Chairman of the Cumberland County Tourism Advisory Council Joe Deluca said, “This billboard campaign is all about targeting potential out of County visitors and getting them to explore all that we have to offer. In addition to our billboards, we also have a new Facebook page, ExploreCumberland NJ. So far, more than 1,000 followers.”


Director of Tourism and Recreation Kim Gauntt said, “The Tourism Advisory Council has been really great about sharing ideas and best practices in promoting Cumberland County. We have a great team with forward thinking ideas.” Gauntt also thanked the NJ Department of State, Division of Travel and Tourism and the Cumberland Board of Chosen Freeholders for funding that made this project possible.
