6/13/2022 - Men's Health Meet-UP
Hey guys- June is Men's Health Month! Take charge of your health with a special event just for you!
The Cumberland County Library, ScreenNJ, Inspira Health, The Greater Bridgeton Family Success Center, and the NJ Department of Health are sponsoring a “Men's Health Meet-Up” at the Greater Bridgeton Family Success Center, located at 155 Spruce St, Bridgeton, NJ, from 4-6pm on Thursday, June 30.
Representatives from ScreenNJ will be giving a "Guts and Glory" presentation, which will give tips on how to manage and monitor your colorectal health. The presentation will be provided in English at 4pm, and again in Spanish at 5pm.
Those in attendance who qualify will also receive a FREE at-home colorect who wish to finally quit their tobacco habit, Inspira Health will provide information on their Quit Center program, which leverages the science behind physical and emotional nicotine addiction into proven methods to quit smoking, chewing, and vaping. Just remember, quitting smoking is the single best thing you can do to improve your health!
Everyone in attendance will also receive a care package, courtesy of the Cumberland County Library and the New Jersey Department of Health. The package is a heavy-duty tote bag with COVID tests, hand sanitizer, and an assortment of health and hygiene supplies.
