2/9/2023 - PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED COMPLETELY INCLUSIVE PLAYGROUND

PUBLIC NOTICE

PURPOSE: The County of Cumberland is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at the Cumberland County Library located at 800 E. Commerce Street, Bridgeton, New Jersey, Wells Lane and NJ State Route 49.
PROJECT SCOPE: The County of Cumberland proposes to create the following new facilities at the Cumberland County Library: a Jake’s Place completely inclusive playground, promoting accessible park improvements for children and adults with disabilities. A concept plan showing the proposed changes and a preliminary cost estimate can be found at www.cumberlandcountynj.gov/newsandevents.
PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on February 28, 2023 at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held in person only as part of the regular meeting of the Cumberland County Board of County Commissioners at the Maurice River Township Municipal Hall, located at 590 Main Street, Leesburg, New Jersey.
