NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE: FRIESBURG ROAD (CR640)

On or about Friday February 6, 2026, CR 640 (Friesburg Road) will be closed to through traffic between CR 663 (Center District Road) and the Salem County line for the replacement of the structure crossing the Cohansey River. This complete closure is expected to last through the summer of 2026. The approved detour plan utilizes the bridge crossing on CR 540 (Deerfield Road) as the signed alternate route. Traffic will be allowed in from each end to reach local residences, but no through traffic (including emergency vehicles and school buses) will be permitted through the construction site at the river.
