The Department of Information Technology (DoIT) provides centralized, efficient, and effective support of the County’s technology resources in an effort to make work easier across all department business operations. 

Strategic Areas of Focus

• Safeguard the information contained within the County computing resources, with a focus on securing and maintaining the integrity of the network against intrusion, disruption, and destruction of sensitive data.

• Developing network strategies and tactics that promote information sharing.
  

• Provide end-user technical support to discrete and integrated IT systems, hosted services and virtualized environments, using a variety of techniques such as desktop support, video camera support, software management, computer networking and general problem-solving skills.

• Develop training and outreach programs in order to communicate effectively with all County employees for awareness on all IT related security notifications.
