WIOA and WFNJ 2026 Regional Plan Update
30-Day Public Comment Period

In accordance with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and WorkFirst New Jersey (WFNJ) program requirements, the Cumberland Salem Cape May Workforce Development Board (WDB) announces the release of the 2026 Regional Plan Update for public review and comment.

This regional plan outlines strategies to strengthen workforce development, align education and training with employer needs, and enhance services for job seekers and businesses across the region. The plan update reflects collaboration among regional partners, including economic development, education, social services, and community stakeholders.

The 30-day public comment period will run from April 1, 2026, through April 30, 2026. All comments must be submitted in writing by the closing date.

Plan Access: The draft plan is available for review at https://cumberlandcountynj.gov/workforcedevelopment or in person at The Center for Workforce & Economic Development - 3322 College Drive Vineland, NJ.

At the conclusion of the comment period, all feedback will be reviewed and incorporated as appropriate before submission to the WDB and the New Jersey State Employment and Training Commission for final approval.
